Without goals, your book is likely to end up on a virtual shelf with all the other books no one buys. Many authors begin by saying “I just need to write it.” But soon, they realize they want more: to publish, to be read, to help, to grow, to leave a legacy.
This quest asks you to define what success looks like. Goals provide direction, focus, and accountability. They help measure progress, manage time, build confidence, and align your book with your larger life, professional, and legacy intentions.
Your Treasure Map of Intent is about writing with clarity of purpose, so your book serves you and your readers.
👹The Bad Guys
Are you hearing the call of the siren or are stuck in the fog of confusion? If either is holding you back, watch one or both of the videos below.

Distracts you with every new idea, whispering: “Start a different book… that one’s better!”
🌀 Fog of Confusion
Casts a haze that makes every idea look the same. “Why am I even writing this?” you ask, and no answer comes. (Lack of Clarity)

1. Watch the introductory video above.
2. Download your Power-Ups.
3. Breeze through The Clarity Scroll and answer the questions that resonate with you.
3. Use the Goal Setting Worksheet to work out your Life Goals, Personal Goals, Professional Goals, and Legacy Goals. (You don’t have to have a goal for every category.)
4. If you like neat and orderly, add your goals to your Author Roadmap.
5. Share with someone!
Power-Up Mode
Use the Goal-Setting Worksheet in Sprint Mode. Set a timer for 5 minutes and brainstorm possible goals in each category. Done > perfect.
